On 3 August 2026, Ms. Chanista Jaipeng and Ms. Chotima Deephonphan, lecturers from the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies, Christian University of Thailand, accompanied seven first-year students on an educational field trip along the “Temples and Palaces of Bangkok” route.

     The field trip was designed to provide students with an opportunity to explore Thailand’s history, arts, culture, and heritage through direct experience. By stepping beyond the classroom and into significant cultural destinations, students were able to connect their academic knowledge with real-world tourism experiences and gain a deeper understanding of Thailand’s cultural heritage.

     During the visit, the students explored Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha) and the Grand Palace, two of Thailand’s most significant cultural and historical attractions. An especially valuable part of the experience was the opportunity to attend a special presentation delivered by officials from the Bureau of the Royal Household, allowing students to gain knowledge and insights directly from experienced professionals familiar with these important heritage sites.

     The experience also encouraged students to observe how historical and cultural information is presented and interpreted for visitors. This provided a valuable foundation for developing essential competencies in tour leading and tour guiding, particularly in researching information, understanding the significance of destinations, and communicating stories and cultural values effectively.
