“THM Learning Experience | เปิดห้องเรียนประวัติศาสตร์ สู่ประสบการณ์จริงของนักศึกษามัคคุเทศก์”

เมื่อวันที่ 29–31 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2569 อาจารย์ ชนิษฐา ใจเป็ง และอาจารย์ โชติมา ดีพลพันธ์ อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาการจัดการท่องเที่ยวและบริการ พร้อมด้วยนักศึกษาในหลักสูตรฯ จำนวน 10 คน จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และพัฒนาทักษะด้าน ผู้นำเที่ยวและมัคคุเทศก์นอกห้องเรียน ผ่านการจัดนำเที่ยวในเส้นทางประวัติศาสตร์ จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร–สุโขทัย–พิษณุโลก
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เปลี่ยนพื้นที่ทางประวัติศาสตร์ให้กลายเป็นห้องเรียนที่มีชีวิต โดยลงพื้นที่ศึกษาและฝึกปฏิบัติการจัดนำเที่ยว ณ แหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำคัญ ได้แก่ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์กำแพงเพชร อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์ศรีสัชนาลัย และวัดพระศรีรัตนมหาธาตุ จังหวัดพิษณุโลก ทำให้นักศึกษาได้สัมผัสคุณค่าของมรดกทางประวัติศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมผ่านประสบการณ์จริง
ตลอดเส้นทาง นักศึกษาได้ฝึกปฏิบัติทักษะที่จำเป็นต่อการเป็นผู้นำเที่ยวและมัคคุเทศก์อย่างรอบด้าน ตั้งแต่ การศึกษาค้นคว้าและเตรียมข้อมูลสำหรับการบรรยาย การถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวและความรู้เกี่ยวกับสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว การดูแลนักท่องเที่ยว ไปจนถึงการประสานงานกับหน่วยงานและผู้เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งช่วยให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้กระบวนการทำงานจริง และเข้าใจบทบาทของมัคคุเทศก์ในสถานการณ์จริงมากยิ่งขึ้น
การเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียนครั้งนี้จึงไม่ได้มุ่งเพียงให้ผู้เรียนรู้จักสถานที่ แต่ยังมุ่งให้สามารถเข้าใจเรื่องราว ตีความคุณค่าของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวและถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวได้อย่างน่าสนใจ อันเป็นทักษะสำคัญของบุคลากรด้านการท่องเที่ยวในยุคปัจจุบัน
จากประสบการณ์ตลอดระยะเวลา 3 วัน นักศึกษาได้รับทั้งองค์ความรู้ด้านการท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ ประสบการณ์ในการจัดนำเที่ยวและทักษะการปฏิบัติงานด้านมัคคุเทศก์ ซึ่งสามารถนำไปต่อยอดในการเรียน การฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพและการประกอบอาชีพในอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวและบริการในอนาคตได้เป็นอย่างดี
“THM Learning Experience | Bringing History to Life Through Real-World Experience”
From 29–31 August 2026, Ajarn Chanista Jaipeng and Ajarn Chotima Deeponpun, lecturers from the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, together with 10 students, organized an experiential learning activity outside the classroom to enhance students’ skills in tour leading and tour guiding. The activity featured a historical tourism route covering Kamphaeng Phet, Sukhothai, and Phitsanulok.
The three-day learning experience provided students with an opportunity to transform important historical destinations into a living classroom through direct observation and hands-on practice. The students visited and studied several significant historical and cultural attractions, including Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park, Sukhothai Historical Park, Si Satchanalai Historical Park, and Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat in Phitsanulok. Through these experiences, students gained a deeper appreciation of Thailand’s historical heritage and cultural values.
Throughout the journey, students practiced a wide range of essential skills required for professional tour leaders and tour guides. These included researching and preparing information for tour commentary, presenting stories and knowledge about destinations, taking care of tourists, and coordinating with relevant organizations and stakeholders. Such hands-on experiences allowed students to better understand the actual responsibilities and working processes of professional tour guides.
The activity was designed not simply to help students know the destinations, but to encourage them to understand their stories, interpret the value of historical and cultural heritage, and communicate meaningful experiences to visitors in an engaging way. These competencies are essential for tourism professionals in today’s industry.
Throughout the three-day journey, students gained valuable knowledge of historical tourism, practical experience in tour operations, and professional tour guiding skills. These experiences can be further applied to their academic studies, professional training, internships, and future careers in the tourism and hospitality industry.
