Dr.Songkran Klomsook and Ajran Punjaporn Thanawachiranun, led fourth-year students of the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Christian University of Thailand to participate in the hands-on training workshop “Shake, Stir & Sip: Classic Cocktail Workshop” held during Food & Hospitality Thailand 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. The activity provided students with an opportunity to enhance their cocktail-making skills through real-world experiential learning.

The workshop was conducted in a Hands-on Learning format, allowing students to practice directly alongside professional instructors. The training covered essential bar skills, including proper use of bar equipment, cocktail mixing techniques, and the fundamental principles of flavor balance—key

competencies required in the food, beverage, hotel, and service industries. Students practiced crafting four signature cocktails, each using a different base spirit: Black Spiced Rum / Vodka / Pink Gin & Mezcal. In addition to practical training, students gained valuable insights into professional techniques, tips, and mixology concepts from industry experts, which they can further apply and adapt in their future careers.

This activity reflects the program’s commitment to experiential learning, emphasizing the philosophy of “learning by doing.” It aims to equip students with knowledge, practical skills, and confidence, preparing them to become professional practitioners in the tourism and hospitality industry.
